Comprehensive Plan Update

New Franklin, Ohio

Boulevard Studios served as a subconsultant to the planning lead on this comprehensive plan update for the City of New Franklin, Ohio. Tasked with concept development and visualization, the firm was in attendance at each community and stakeholder meeting where listening and documenting resident ideas and concerns was crucial to developing a slate of initiatives for improving the city’s connectivity, green spaces, and commercial centers. A series of renderings for the report illustrate how bikeways, streetscape improvements, and more flexible use of existing parks can be applied city-wide to make New Franklin more accessible to its younger residents while preserving the rural character so cherished by those who have lived there for decades.
